FAQ

Q: What are your rates?
A: My rates vary depending on how many rabbits I will be caring for, whether or not the rabbit needs special care, and whether the rabbit will be staying with me or at your house. Please send me an email and I will give you a personalized quote.

Q: Can you come to my house or do I have to bring my rabbit to you?
A: I prefer for your rabbit to come to my house but I will make house-calls for short periods of time such as a weekend.

Q: What do you feed them and how often?
A: I feed the rabbits once in the morning and once in the evening. They are fed a variety of greens including romaine, red leaf and green leaf lettuce, parsley, cilantro, endive, and escarole, as well as unlimited Oxbow timothy hay. I have eliminated sugary treats from the rabbits' diets (such as fruit and carrots) and instead give them Oxbow orchard grass as a treat.

Q: Will my rabbit interact with your rabbits?
A: Most likely not.

Q: If my rabbit becomes ill while in your care, what veterinary do you use?
A: I would take the rabbit to Chicago Exotics/Animal 911 in Skokie
